Shea butter production mainly falls into two categories:

Core Production Process

1.    Raw Material Pretreatment: Shea kernels undergo crushing and roasting to remove moisture, inactivate enzymes, and improve oil fluidity for optimal pressing conditions.
2.   Oil Extraction: Choose hydraulic pressing (low-temperature process preserving active ingredients, ideal for high-end cosmetic-grade products) or screw pressing (continuous operation for medium-to-large-scale production).
3.   Crude Oil Purification: Filter to remove solid residues from crude shea butter, improving clarity and reducing the load on subsequent refining processes.
