Roaster is a kind of equipment for frying various kinds of oil seeds when making vegetable oil, Generally, the temperature in the process of frying seeds is controlled at 160 to 230 ℃ (according to the oil crop).usually used in small or medium scale vegetable oil mil plant. The oil seeds that can be processed by roaster are peanut/ groundnut, soybean, sunflower seeds rapeseed, sesame, palm kernel, etc.

  Roaster is mainly composed of a machine frame, a hopper, a drum and a fire shield. The function of roaster is to adjust temperature and moisture of the oil seeds, fully destroy the cell structure of the oil seeds, so as to improve the oil yield and improve the quality of oil and cake.

  The operation process of roaster: First, preheat the roaster. Then, put the oil seeds into the hopper for feeding into the roaster. Next, under the continuous rotation of the roaster, the oil seeds will be flipped and fully heated. At last, after the roasting process is finished, the oil seeds will be transported to oil presser for extracting oil out or directly stored for use later.

 

  According to different heating methods, the roaster can be divided into three types: fire wood heating type, electric heating type and gas heating type.
